They've done it again. Those guys at Foot Locker have pulled off another marketing masterstroke, this time with Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard.

Lillard - who Adidas are really pushing after his $100 million dollar deal - stars front and centre in this play-off based advert alongside multiple famous faces.

The bit kicks off with Lillard on the phone talking about buying some new shoes, before telling the person on the other end of the line that he doesn’t want to be one of those guys who ‘never won a ring’.

Unfortunately for the Weber State star, NFL legends Barry Sanders and LaDainian Tomlinson are in the exact same room as him.

Hastily back-tracking Lillard assures the great backs that he was only talking about ring-less basketball players. But then again, sitting adjacent to the football stars is Chris Webber.

Lillard tells C-Webb that he was actually talking about one of those legends that lost in the finals time and time again.

Enter Karl Malone with a plateful of hamburgers and a face-full of sadness.
