Brandon Lloyd is back after spending a year out, reuniting with the San Francisco 49ers.

The former New England Patriots wide receiver was cut after the end of last seasons and wasn't able to pick up a place anywhere.

Subsequently he spent an entire season out but now he's back with the team that first drafted him in the first place.

After losing his sanity to some degree in the locker room, he was cut by that Pats, couldn't find a side and even starred in a B-Movie Horror flick called After Effect.

But now San Francisco has rewarded the 32-year old with a one year deal to bring him back home.

He spent two years in the Bay Area from 2003-2005 and in 2005 hit 48 catches, 5 TD's and just under 800 yards.

So you could see this deal as high risk. But with an already strong line up for offence, Lloyd is great explosive option to put in and has great experience to give to the younger heads in the team.
