Liverpool and Arsenal are both watching Lille youngster Divock Origi, according to the Daily Mail.

The 18-year-old forward has scored five goals in French football this season, from 25 Ligue 1 appearances.

Primarily playing from the left wing, the Belgian teenager has impressed watching Premier League scouts, with Arsenal and Liverpool the two biggest teams reportedly interested.

Alongside Origi, Liverpool scouts are also keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen's Son Heung-Min and Julian Brandt.

Origi has earned a Belgium under-21 cap this year following his impressive full debut season in the Lille first-team.

He replaced Marseille-bound Dimitri Payet in the Lille team, and the northern French club have continued their success in the top flight. They currently sit third behind Paris Saint Germain and Monaco and should lock up a Champions League qualification spot.

Liverpool and Arsenal have scouts across Europe, and both Premier League clubs have solid reputations when it comes to youth development.

Brendan Rodgers has not been shy to introduce academy players into the first-team, while Arsene Wenger has had great success in the Ligue 1 transfer market.
