Carmelo Anthony beaten up by Kevin Garnett on NHL 14

Football News

Earlier this season, Washington Wizards center, Marcin Gortat suggested that NBA players should be allowed to solve problems with their fists like NHL players.

This idea, although rather unorthodox, gathered some traction among some supporters so Sports Illustrated decided to see what these fights would look like.

Instead of gathering up NBA players and ordering them to fight, SI put NBA players likenesses into the new EA Sports video game NHL 14 to see what these brawls look like.

You can check out the entire video here, but highlights include animated versions of fights between Metta World Peace and Tyler Hansbrough, Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett and Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban beating up on former commissioner David Stern.

The fights are obviously entertaining but unless Adam Silver has a dramatic change of heart, I think that video games will be the only place that we will see NBA players involved in brawls.
