The New York Knicks have signed Lamar Odom for the rest of the season and according to league rules the franchise had until game-time to sign the former Laker and they managed it with only 45 minutes remaining.

The Phil Jackson revolution is beginning and his first signing as the Knicks president is a player he coached whilst winning titles with the Los Angeles Lakers, Lamar Odom.

The veteran forward  has had all kinds of trouble with drug abuse and the recent announcement of possible divorce from Khloe Kardashian but he looks to be on the road to recovery by getting back into the NBA with the Knicks.

Ian Begley reported the signing of Odom: "League source says the #Knicks deal with Lamar Odom's deal will have a team option for next season."
