Last summer's transfer window saw a massive £630m spent by the Premier League clubs with the biggest single fee being Arsenal's £42.4m splashed out on German Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.
Although that brought a lot of fresh faces to the English league, it left many on the brink on squads, some of whom haven't been at their respective clubs for very long.
Proven talent at this level sits on the touchline without seeing much of a chance to showcase their ability.
