The St. Louis Blues may have secured the third seed in the Western Conference for the playoffs but they will have to play at least one post-season game without star player, T.J Oshie.

Pro Hockey Talk report that Oshie, who has been out of action for a week after suffering a high hit against the Minnesota Wild, and Patrik Berglund will miss the first game of the playoffs against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight.

The injuries were confirmed on the Blues twitter account earlier today.

Oshie will be the bigger of the two losses for the Blues, he has registered 21 goals and 39 assists for the Blues this season, a career best. The center also starred for Team USA in the Winter Olympics earlier this year, winning a group stage shootout against host nation Russia.

The Blues will hope to have both players back at some point of the series as they would face an uphill battle to knock off the defending Stanley Cup champions without two of their star names.
