As the clock ticked away in the final period of game one of the Stanley Cup play-off series between the Boston Bruins and the Detroit Red Wings both teams were pressing for the opening an potentially winning goal.

It would be the Red Wings who would find it in the end after some weaving from Forward Pavel Datsyuk before he put the puck past a stubborn Tukka Rask with 3:01 left in the game.

The Bruins couldn't respond and were forced to a defeat in the opening game of their pursuit of the Stanley Cup.
