A Brazilian football manager could be in trouble after he was accused of calling a lineswoman a 'hot chick' during a match.

Juventus de Santa Catarina coach Celso Teixeira was sent from the touchline during a third division game after he allegedly made his 'gostoso' (hot chick) - remark, although he protests his innocence.

He said: "This is a joke. From the moment she walked onto the pitch in that uniform, there were insults coming down from the stands the whole time. I’m sure someone called here a ‘hot chick’, but it wasn’t me."

The referee's assistant in question, Maira Americano Labes, confirms that she heard Teixeira make the comment, but brushed it off as happening in the 'heat of the moment'.
