Washington Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III attended the White House's annual Easter Egg roll in an unusual fashion choice on Monday.
The former Heisman Trophy winner donned his cleats for the Easter Egg roll and even strolled through the historic landmark in them.
Several of the Redskins players attended the event and even got to hang out with Dr Oz while celebrating the annual holiday.
RGIII was the toast of the day as the event which was attended by over 30,000 people sparked many pictures of different people with the young Quarterback circulating on social media sites.
Fellow Redskins player Pierre Garcon was on hand to point out that Griffin wore the cleats within the halls of one of the most legendary buildings in the world.
Garcon pictured Griffin and posted it on social network site Instagram with the tagline: "This might be the first guy to wear cleats in the White House."
The Redskins have had a fairly progressive off-season so far with Griffin himself getting back to full health and many people expect them to have a better season than last year this time around.
