Manchester United: Danny Welbeck to Tottenham

Football News
24/7

Does Danny Welbeck still want to leave Manchester United following the dismissal of David Moyes? Perhaps not, but the England international is still unlikely to be played in his favoured centre-forward position regardless of who becomes the club’s next permanent manager.

The 23-year-old is concerned his career will stagnate by playing out of position or, worse still, being left on the substitutes’ bench.

Reports claim that both Tottenham and Arsenal are keen on Welbeck, with the former believed to be weighing up a £20m bid for the Manchester United No. 19.

However, as one of the club’s few locally-born players, the Manchester United fans hope Welbeck stays at Old Trafford this summer.
