Football News

There are very few world-class players who successfully complete a transition into becoming a world-class manager.

Though it’s becoming an increasingly popular trend for footballers to take up some sort of coaching role once they hang up their boots, the vast majority never achieve half as much success in the dugout as they do on the pitch. In light of recent events it would seem that Ryan Giggs - temporarily at least - will be the latest to try his hand in instructing from the sidelines.

Regardless of whether or not he can however, what’s more interesting is his future beyond this campaign.

Will Giggs manage to navigate the rocky road to top-flight management? We don’t know - but the idea sure has got us thinking about the current stars of world football and whether or not they’d make good gaffers.
