If the Daily Express is to be believed then Manchester United could potentially axe up to 11 players this summer, as the Glazers look to revamp the squad in the wake of a disastrous campaign.

Rumours have run amok recently concerning the business that could be undertaken at Old Trafford come the end of the season, and most recently reports have claimed that the Premier League champions are working on deals to secure both Luke Shaw and Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos. However far from being one-way traffic the Express has listed an astounding 11 first-team players who look set to be discarded come the summer transfer window.

There's the more obvious inclusions of fringe players and stars who struggled to make the grade both under Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes, but there's also a fair few surprises to be seen.
