Arsenal have offered starlet Chris Willock a lucrative contract deal to fend off interest from Manchester United, according to The Daily Mail.
The highly rated youngster, who can play off the striker or on the left hand side of midfield, is just 16-year-old and looks set for first team action in the near future.
Having made his debut for the Arsenal Under 18 side last year, he's gone from strength-to-strength in recent time and looks one of England's brightest prospects.
That's why Arsenal are desperate to keep hold of him and don't want Manchester United to take him to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils already have his brother - Matthew - on their books and now look ready to tempt the 16-year-old away from north London.
It remains to be seen as to whether Willock will accept the offer from Arsenal, but it certainly appears that he will be featuring in the Premier League over the coming years.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have a great history of succeeding with youth stars and will be hoping Willock is part of their immediate set up.
