Manchester United's top 4 summer targets revealed

Manchester United have selected the four transfer targets they want to pursue with the most intent this summer, and the pack is fronted by former Arsenal captain Francesc Fabregas.

According to the Express the Spain international, along with Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos, Southampton’s Luke Shaw and Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani find themselves firmly on United’s radar despite the fact that the Old Trafford outfit have no full-time manager at the moment. Following David Moyes’ dismissal earlier on this week fans may have been forgiven for thinking that the club’s transfer plans would be put on hold, but on the contrary the Glazer family have flown in to discuss plans with the board members.

The Express claims that the aforementioned quartet of stars are high on the agenda for the club moving forward, and may well be targeted with the £200million transfer kitty said to be available for the summer transfer window. The likes of Kroos, Fabregas and Cavani could well be put off by the lack of Champions League football for next season, but the rebuilding process will most certainly appeal to Shaw.

United have yet to confirm official bids for any of the players included in their supposed wish list, but the club will be wary of leaving it too long lest they suffer a repeat of last summer’s transfer disappointments.
