Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac has revealed that he is currently considering an offer from Manchester United.
With Nemanja Vidic leaving at the end of the season, United need to reinforce their central defence, and it would appear Kolasinac is the man the Old Trafford hierarchy have made their top target.
The Bosnian is also capable of playing left-back and in midfield, and confirmed the offer from the struggling Red Devils.
"Yes, I have an offer from Manchester United," he is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.
"But, I will not hurry with the decision [over my future]. I have to see what Schalke think about it."
The 20-year-old has become at regular at the German side this season, and was rewarded with his first national cap in November.
Despite appearing at under-18, under-19 and under-20 level for Germany, the tough defender decided to appear for Bosnia.
Kolasinac could be one of a number of young defenders joining the club in the summer, with constant speculation over the future of Southampton full-back Luke Shaw.
The England left-back has been linked with a £30million switch to Old Trafford, although the Manchester Club will face stiff competition from rivals Chelsea.
A deal for Kolasinac would cost upwards of €5million, it is believed.
