NFL Draft top prospect Johnny Manziel will be one of the most talked about quarterbacks during the 2014 season no matter where he ends up.

Where that will be nobody knows yet, but NFL announcer Jim Nantz admits he's heard a rumor for a long time now that puts Manziel in a certain place he'd like to call home.

Now we know that this is only a rumor, but they do say that there is no smoke without fire.

Last week, it was reported that the Cowboys interest in Manziel has soured in recent times, and it's understood that Dallas are ready to make some sort of play for him in the draft.

Whether that actually comes to fruition or not remains to be seen, but Nantz is definitely aware of the rumor.

“I can say this, he’s going to be the guy everyone wants to see. I’ve heard this rumor for a month — the Cowboys will figure out a way to get Manziel,” Nantz said via ESPN Cleveland.

“Wherever Manziel goes, there is going to be more clamoring about Johnny Manziel than there would be about Blake Bortles going No. 1 or [Jadeveon] Clowney going No. 1, or anyone else. This is a guy that there’s just a tremendous interest in everything he does.”

Dallas are one of the most talked about teams in the NFL and they are known as 'America's team' as a result of this popularity.

The question remains, how would the Cowboys go about trying to acquire him? One option would be to trade up for him because he's unlikely to available at No. 16, but we'll see what happens as we get closer to draft day.
