Patrice Evra's future at Manchester United will remain uncertain until a new manager is appointed, according to The Guardian

The French international is out of contract at the club at the end of the season, and it appears that discussions regarding his future have been put on hold.

David Moyes lost his job as boss of the Red Devils last week, with Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal the favourite to replace him in the Old Trafford hot seat.

However, it remains to be seen as to whether United will appoint the ex-Barcelona manager as their new boss, which means Evra's future with the club will remain in the balance.

The full-back has been an integral member of the Manchester United side over the last few years, but has seen the likes of Fábio Coentrão, Leighton Baines and Luke Shaw all linked with the club in recent time.

A number of changes are expected to be made at Manchester United this summer, and the new boss will have to make a number of decisions regarding the incomings and outgoings from the club.

Manchester United fans, what do you think? Should Evra be handed a new deal with the club? Have your say below!
