The world of wrestling entertainment has been in the market for a new female wrestler for sometime, and it WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has found his girl with the signing of Leyvonna Zakari

This doesn't mean that the former actress and model will be appearing on our screens anytime soon, but it does mean that she has the potential for development within the organisation.

Zakari has been signed to a development contract, which means she will train with former WWE greats at the Elite Performance Center in a bid to make it to the big-time in the near future.

She had a tryout back in December, and it seems that the former model did enough to impress to gain a contract this week.

Just because she's only on a development deal doesn't mean that her debut on shows such as Monday Night Raw will be too far away.

Current WWE Divas champion Paige for instance, went down a similar route before she made her debut on Raw recently at the tender age of 21.

And she immediately gained her fame by defeating AJ Lee on her debut. Maybe we'll see something similar with Zakari somewhere down the line.
