Phil Neville believes that his Manchester United team-mate Kieran Richardson has grown in confidence and self-belief because of his loan spell at West Brom.

Richardson, who joined the Baggies during the January transfer window, played a key part in keeping Bryan Robson´s side in the Premiership. The midfielder then capped a golden spell by scoring twice on his England debut against the United States in Chicago last month.

Neville told PA Sport: "Kieran continued the form with England in America that he has shown for West Brom this season. I know they have been very pleased with him down at West Brom."
