LA Clippers Donald Sterling was yesterday banned for life from team activities and fined $2.5 million for his racist comments, and as a result of the verdict, the Clippers sent a message of 'We Are One' to defy their own owner.

This message was posted on their own website as the home page shortly after NBA commissioner Adam Silver spoke at his press conference Tuesday.

Subsequently, teams from around the league also used the message for their home page on their own websites to show support for the Clippers staff that still remained.

Furthermore, the NBA has now shown its support with a video inspired by the message of 'We Are One', and you can view it above.
