Fernando Torres was a reluctant scorer for Chelsea last night in an otherwise chastening night for the Blues in the Champions League semi-finals as they fell at the penultimate hurdle against Atletico Madrid.

The Spaniard had given the Stamford Bridge faithful reason to be hopeful when he instinctively jabbed home in the 36th minute - however that was to be the high point of the night for the home crowd as the Spanish league leaders hit back three times through Adrian, Diego Costa and Arda Turan to send them tumbling out of the competition.

For Torres it was a bittersweet moment - he refused to celebrate after scoring against his former club, while his current team's exit from Europe is likely to have hit him hard too.

In general the former Liverpool striker has struggled for goals in west London - but at least in one are he's absolutely banging them in. In fact, he's scored 20 million goals this season.

Yep, that's right, Fernando Torres has scored 20 million goals. Sadly for him however that's only in the world of FIFA 14, where he ranks amongst the most popular Premier League players used to ripple the back of the net.

The game is one of the most popular with gamers around the world, and despite his struggles on the pitch Torres has evidently maintained his popularity with lovers of the beautiful game.
