Goldberg to return to WWE at Wrestlemania 31?

Football News

Goldberg could be set for a sensational return to the WWE, with suggestions that he is interested in taking part in a match at Wrestlemania 31.

This is according to reports from Wrestling Observer news letter cited by Wrestlinginc.com, who claim that the 47-year-old has interest in such a possibility if the right deal can be struck between all parties.

The same source further suggests that Goldberg has managed to keep himself in excellent shape over the last few years, with presumably no worries circulating about how he might physically adapt to a return to the ring.

A former defensive tackle with the Atlanta Falcons and an established actor, William 'Bill' Goldberg first joined the WWE in 2003 and proceeded to feud with the likes of Brock Losnar after a long stint with World Championship Wrestling and a brief cameo on the Japanese circuit.

While has spent over a decade away from the company, it would certainly be intriguing to see how the WWE might approach a return for the physically imposing Oklahoman.

With old enemy Lesnar - who so famously ended The Undertaker's unbeaten streak at Wrestlemania 30 earlier this month - also now also back in the industry, could it be that those two heavyweights will resume old hostilities?
