Richard Sherman has already been to the White House once in recent months to celebrate his Super Bowl win with the Seattle Seahawks.

And he will be in the company of President Obama once again it seems after he was invited to attend the annual White House Correspondents' dinner.

The Seattle Seahawks cornerback will be on the Huffington Post table alongside acting duo Anna Kendrick and Kristen Bell.

But he is not the only NFL player set to make an appearance.

Tony Romo, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson and Kirk Cousins all accepted the invitation according to reports and they will join a host of A-list names alongside the usual government officials and press corps.

The likes of Will.I.Am, Andy Roddick, Kevin Hart and Steve McQueen will be networking at the event which has been held annually since 1920.

The 2014 incarnation will take place Saturday 3 May and marks the 100th year anniversary of the White House Correspondents Association.
