The Los Angeles Lakers are currently without a head coach since the resignation of Mike D'Antoni and rumours over his replacement have been buzzing around the internet for a while, but the answer may already be wearing Lakers gold and purple, how about Swaggy P?

Nick Young has become one of the most endearing NBA players since his arrival in Los Angeles, the Lakers gave 'Swaggy P' the platform to transform his dwindling basketball career but also make him a celebrity which he has fully embraced.

Whether it be his on-court antics, his terrible pitching at Dodgers stadium or his celebrity girlfriend in Australian Rapper Iggy Azalea, Young is making headlines all over Hollywood, so imagine the internet eruption if he were to be considered for the Lakers head coaching role.

Young put his hat in the ring for the job by simply tweeting: "I'll be the new coach" to his 81k followers.

Whilst there are many other coaches more suitable for the position linked with the job, including favourite Kevin Ollie of the national champion Connecticut Huskies, Young would be the media's personal choice to take over in Laker land.
