Cleveland Browns drafted Johnny Manziel because of homeless man

All the waiting is finally over! Johnny Freaking Football is now officially an NFL player.

Well we have to wait a couple months to actually see him playing in a Cleveland Browns jersey, but i'm sure it will feel quicker than the two and a half hours Manziel spent in that green room behind the stage last night.

But the reason that Manziel is actually at the Browns is all because of the most Browns thing that has ever happened in history... A homeless man told owner Jimmy Haslam to draft the QB.

I'm not even joking, these are the actual words that came out of Haslam's mouth according to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

"Here in Cleveland, every where I go people know me," Paolantonio reported Haslam said. "And I was out to dinner recently and a homeless person was out on the street, looked up at me and said 'Draft Manziel.'"

This is actually brilliant. You can forget your animals that predict sporting results, recruiting advice from the homeless is obviously the future of sport.

Well done Cleveland, even when actually having a successful draft you manage to come out looking ridiculous beyond belief.
