Miami Dolphins star makes stupid hazing joke

Mike Pouncey is either the stupidest man alive, or he has balls made of absolute steel.

The Miami Dolphins center was involved in the Jonathan Martin hazing scandal that completely rocked the NFL world last year.

Yet in his infinite wisdom, the 24-year old decided to make a joke about the debacle that left Martin depressed and forced to leave the club, while Richie Incognito was sent to a mental health clinic.

After the Dolphins drafted an offensive lineman to replace Martin and Incognito, Pouncey tweeted out to his 115,000 followers: "Great pick! I can't wait for our gifts he's getting us lol"

If you missed the whole sorry saga then let me fill you in. Basically it is commonplace in some degenerate football teams for the rookies to become lesser human beings. We're not talking about carrying bags, fetching water or tidying up training equipment though.

With the Dolphins and Martin it was much worse, and it didn't stop when Martin entered his second year and was no longer a rookie. Incognito and Pouncey caused immense 'emotional distress' to Martin through threats to him and his family, racism, humiliation and physical beating.

Incognito was struck off the team for being the ringleader of the abuse, while somehow Pouncey kept his job in Miami.

I'm beginning to err on the side of stupid rather than comical. A visit from the Media Officer and PR people will soon be in order.
