The Miami Dolphins have once again been called into controversy after one of their players tweeted following the first round of the NFL Draft last night.

Center Mike Pouncey who was a name involved in the Dolphins bullying scandel which resulted in the franchise now having to rebuild their reputation was the player under scrutiny again.

Following the Dolphins selection of Offensive Lineman Ja'Wuan James in the first round last night, Pouncey tweeted saying "Great pick! I can't wait for our gifts he's getting us lol."

An obvious reference to the Ted Wells report was taken badly across social media and has now resulted in Pouncey deleting his Twitter account.

The franchise have come out on Friday and claimed that the issue has been handled and that Pouncey has spoken too.

Dolphins GM Dennis Hickey has said: "Mike understands that sometimes things can be taken out of context,"
