Former WWE star CM Punk is living each day in fear of being stabbed by a fan of the organization, following his retirement from the sport.

According to sources in the U.S, one of Punk’s former girlfriends has shed light on his situation since leaving his post as one of the most influential wrestlers in the world, and it doesn’t paint a pretty picture for his fans. Natalie Slater, who remains a close friend of Punk, has revealed how the 35-year-old has been forced to contemplate hiring a bodyguard as he fears that someone may make an attempt on his life.

The ex-WWE Heavyweight Champion has reportedly seen his stock rise meteorically since his decision to quit professional wrestling, and now has people mobbing him every time he steps foot outside his house. As such Punk is said to be growing increasingly paranoid about making public appearances, and the chances of him returning to the sport he once dominated grow thinner every day.

Do you think Punk will ever step foot in a wrestling ring again? Or have we truly seen the last of him? Comment in the box below and let us know.
