Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Mike Evans is the early betting favorite for offensive rookie of the year according to Bovada.

The betting site have installed the former Texas A&M man as favorite at 3/1 with fellow wide receiver, Sammy Watkins at 4/1 after being drafted by the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills gave up a first round pick in next year's draft for the pick to draft Watkins, but according to Bovada they haven't even signed the most effective wide receiver in next year's league.

Evans' teammate at Texas A&M, Johnny Manziel is the third favorite at 15/2 and leads the other quarterbacks who were selected in the first round. Teddy Bridgewater who slipped to 32nd overall before being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings is available at a price of 12/1.

However Jacksonville Jaguars draftee, Blake Bortles falls to 20/1 according to the bookmaker.

Bovada have also released odds for the defensive rookie of the year with first overall pick Jadeveon Clowney leading the way.

Clowney is a favorite at 2/1, whilst linebacker Khalil Mack is priced at 4/1.

Who do you think will be the most effective rookie next season? Let us know in the comments.
