Chelsea have agreed a £32 million deal to sign Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, according to The Daily Star.

The Brazilian born, Spanish international has had a fine season at the La Liga outfit, having struck 27 league goals so far.

He's played an integral role in their success throughout the course of the campaign, and could still win a La Liga and Champions League double this term.

However, it now appears that his long term future will be at Chelsea, with reports indicating the the club will offer him wages worth up to £150,000-a-week.

With the likes of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o having all struggled for form and consistency throughout the season, Blues fans will now be hoping that the addition of Costa will improve them ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

Chelsea only managed to secure a third placed finish in the Premier League this time around, but Blues fans will be more optimistic than ever that they can achieve future success.

Fans of Chelsea will be hoping that Costa can score the goals to help the club claim a trophy next season.
