Football News

Kobe Bryant announced this weekend that he is feeling "100 percent" healthy as he continues his rehabilitation following a season to forget.

So with the Lakers announcing today their preseason plans, it seems only right to reveal exactly when fans can expect to see their idol return to action.

October 6 2014 is the date that looks likely to see Kobe back in the purple and gold, with the Lakers scheduled to play a game against the Denver Nuggets at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego.

Bryant featured in only six games for the Lakers during the entire 2013-14 season after succumbing to knee trouble.

However the veteran star is already touting his readiness for the season ahead and you can be certain that come October, after a hopefully injury-free offseason workout period, the fans will be packed in against the Nuggets should Bryant be listed as a starter.

The Lakers go on to play a further seven pre-season games during a busy October, and knowing Kobe you would expect him to want to feature in pretty much all of them.
