Football News

Buffalo Bills new recruit Sammy Watkins will have a lot of hype surrounding him in the coming months after the Bills traded up to get him fourth overall in the NFL Draft.

But one of the best ways to cope with the media and fan hype is to get off to a good start with that media and those fans.

Watkins has certainly done that this week by visiting cancer suffering Bills legendary NFL quarterback Jim Kelly in hospital.

It's definitely an extremely nice touch by the wide-out, and one can imagine that the move will go down very well with Bills fans, and it's a great media opportunity as well.

But let's not forget that this is a real human being situation as well, with Kelly going through the toughest battle of his life right now, with a second and more serious fight with cancer.

We all hope that Kelly comes through his battle, and credit to Watkins for going to see the four-time AFC Champion.
