Nelson Cruz tells Justin Verlander to "Hold my ****"

Wednesday's game between the Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers got a little bit heated.

Tigers pitching star Justin Verlander started it all off when the Orioles Nelson Cruz came up to bat.

The back story of the saga dates back to the opening game of the series on Monday when the Orioles starting pitcher Bud Norris threw at Torii Hunter, which caused a bit of a bench clearance from both of the sides.

Well the ace of the pitching staff is always in charge of making sure that there is at least some payback, and Verlander did that on Wednesday by throwing behind Nelson Cruz.

Instead of charging the mound to start beating the living daylights out of the 31-year old Verlander, Cruz took the much safer route of just grabbing his crotch and yelling at Verlander to “Hold my D***!”
