Everton have joined Crystal Palace in the race to sign Chelsea's Thorgan Hazard on a season-long loan deal for the 2014/15 Premier League campaign, according to the Daily Express.

Hazard, who is yet to play a competitive game for Chelsea despite joining the club in 2012, has spent the last two seasons on loan Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem.

The 21-year-old is now hoping to secure a temporary move to a Premier League side if he cannot be guaranteed regular minutes by Jose Mourinho.

And Hazard, who is the younger brother of Chelsea's Eden Hazard, is reportedly attracting interest from a number of English sides after taking the Pro League by storm.

Reports emerged on Wednesday that Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis was keen on taking Hazard under his wing next season and that his close relationship with Mourinho could see the Eagles land the attacking midfielder.

However the south London outfit may have to fight off competition from Everton as Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is also said to be preparing an offer for Chelsea's Belgian starlet.
