Thibaut Courtois plans to reveal his intentions on staying at Chelsea next season after this week's Champions League final, according to reports in Spain.

The Belgium international has spent the last three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid since joining Chelsea from Genk in 2011.

Courtois has been reluctant to commit his future to Chelsea during the course of the campaign as he is yet to be given assurances over whether he will be handed a starting role at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will have a major decision to make in the summer over who will start in between the sticks next season, as Petr Cech remains one of the most consistent goalkeepers in world football.

Courtois, on the other hand, has developed into one of Europe's finest custodians during his time at the Vicente Calderon.

The 22-year-old will be hoping to make a final decision on his club future before linking up with the Belgium squad ahead of next month's World Cup.
