WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather was one of the lucky few to attend Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, which featured a stunning holographic performance by the one and only Michael Jackson. And Mayweather provided his millions of Instagram followers with a special treat: a 15-second clip of the show from his point of view, filmed on his mobile phone.

Mayweather posted the clip to his Instagram account on Sunday night - and it has since received over 60,000 likes. "At the #BMAs2014 watching the Michael Jackson hologram live…" the 37-year-old boxer added in the caption section.

This is not the first time this futuristic technology has been used at a major event. Back in 2012, a holographic Tupac Skakur performance stunned those at Coachella. And while MJ's may have lacked the same eye-opening amazement as the late rapper's, it still packed a punch, with many describing it as the standout moment from the BMAs.

Michael Jackson died in June 2009 and the premature age of 50 - but, as this clip shows, his music will continue to be enjoyed from people of all walks of life.
