A San Antonio Spurs fan has done his part in trying to will the team to NBA Championship glory.... by filing a petition.

The Spurs fan filed a petition in an attempt to stop what he called: "The Tony Romo curse" from coming to San Antonio.

The 'Curse' claims that any team that Romo goes to watch or play for.

When trying to recall examples the petition says: "Just ask Duke, Clippers, Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks even the TNT show Dallas."

Of course its not really Romo watching the Dallas Cowboys that the petition claims he ruins the team from, it is more his playing performances.

The idea of a Romo curse however stems from him appearing at the play-off games of the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars who both suffered early exits.

Romo also appeared at game six of the Oklahoma City Thunder and LA Clippers series where the Clippers crashed out.

The petition didn't receive enough signatures to warrant an official response from the White House but perhaps Romo should avoid the AT&T Center just in case.
