Indians fans hit in face by ball after missing easy catch

The Cleveland Indians won out against the Detroit Tigers 5-4 Monday night to halt a four game losing streak.

But while their team came out and performed against one of the form sides in MLB right now, the same cannot be said for one unfortunate fan.

Mid way through the game Indians shortstop Asbrudal Cabrera threw a ball up into the crowd, looking to give one lucky fan a souvenir to take away from Progressive Filed.

That kind gesture didn't quite go exactly as planned however as the video above proves. One eager individual, keen to get his hands on the ball, made a move for the throw, skirting along the bleachers to put himself in prime position for the catch.

But when the big moment came, the fan fluffed his lines in painful circumstances - letting the ball fall through hiss hands to land directly on his nose.
