The Montreal Canadiens are struggling in their Eastern Conference Finals at the moment. They are now trailing the New York Rangers 2-0 and have lost their experienced goalie for the remainder of the series. However, they have gained a new high profile fan, at least temporarily.

An Ontario Mayor has had a temporary tattoo of the famous Habs' logo put on his head as part of a playoff bet which the politician lost.

Keith Hobbs, the Mayor of Thunder Bay and big Boston Bruins fan held a bet with CKPR radio personality, Danny Foresta.

The Candiens secured their place in the Conference Finals at the expense of the Bruins in a critical game seven and so Hobbs got the tattoo.

However, the ink is only temporary and should last only a week or so and thus probably has a longer shelf life than the Canadiens' playoff chances.

Game three of the series faces off on Thursday in Montreal.
