Manchester United & Chelsea to think twice before bidding for Toure

Manchester United and Chelsea will think twice before bidding for Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, according to The Daily Mail.

Toure and his agent - Dimitry Seluk - kicked up a fuss yesterday as they claimed that the Citizens didn't celebrate the star's birthday.

This has led to uncertainty regarding his long term future at Etihad, with a number of clubs reportedly interested in his services.

However, it appears that the two clubs who could afford him in the Premier League - Manchester United and Chelsea - wouldn't be sure whether to make a bid for the midfielder after his outburst.

Toure may have been one of the standout players in England's elite division last season, but it appears that Manchester United and Chelsea have been put off by the way he's conducted himself in recent days.

If reports are to be believed, however, Manchester City would be against selling to a rival, meaning it's unlikely Manchester United or Chelsea would land the star's signature, even if they did submit a bid for him.

It certainly looks set to be an interesting summer for Toure and Co. at Manchester City.
