Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in signing Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco, according to reports in Italy.

The 27-year-old started just six Serie A games last season as he was often overlooked due to the form Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.

Giovinco will move even further down if Antonio Conte is able to convince Didier Drogba into moving to Turin on a free transfer.

Conte will have to cash in on one of his strikers in order to provide Drogba with a significant amount of game-time and Giovinco is thought to be the most likely candidate to be axed by the Serie A champions.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are said to be keen on signing the forward ahead of next season's Premier League and European campaigns.

Brendan Rodgers will be looking to significantly strengthen his squad ahead of Liverpool's first season back in the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger is also currently scouring the market for a new striker as he heavily relied on first choice striker Olivier Giroud.
