Manchester United have finally agreed a deal to sign Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich for £20m, reports the Daily Mail.
The deal was put in place by former manager David Moyes and Louis van Gaal has finally given his approval for the transfer to go ahead.
Kroos worked under Louis van Gaal during his time at Bayern Munich and is very keen to work with the manager at Old Trafford.
The same is reportedly true for Arjen Robben, who has had the pleasure of working under Van Gaal for the Dutch national team and would relish the chance to work with him at club level.
Robben, 30, recently signed a three-year extension on his Bayern contract but will be willing to push through a move if Manchester United offer enough to tempt the Bavarians into a sale.
It's all part of a summer rebuilding contract at Old Trafford, which is likely to see up to six stars join.
Luke Shaw is about to sign for £27m, joining Kroos and Van Gaal will now move swiftly and launch a stunning offer for Robben.
