TNT analyst and former NBA star, Charles Barkley certainly has some outspoken views. He has made headlines this week for being critical of the San Antonio Spurs fans and now he has spoken out against the Chicago Bulls organization.

Speaking to an ESPN affiliate, Barkley criticized the Bulls for not respecting coach Tom Thibodeau enough to give him a new contract.

Barkley said:"Every year the idiots in Chicago, either they don’t want to pay Thibs or his name comes up for other jobs. I wish the Bulls were smart enough to say ‘We’ve got one of the best coaches in the NBA and he’s not going anywhere’."

Thibodeau was able to lead the Bulls into the playoffs for the fourth straight season despite being forced to trade star forward Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers in January and also being without Derrick Rose for almost the entire season with injury.

The coach has been linked with a number of vacant head coaching positions recently, including those with the New York Knicks and the LA Lakers.

Although it seems that Thibs doesn't seem to be forcing any move from Chicago, it seems strange that the Bulls are not rewarding the coach for his remarkable performances over the past couple of seasons.

Thibodeau ranks high in the list of top coaches in the NBA and Chicago will surely need to hang onto their man if they are to ever return to the heights that the franchise was at in the 1990s.
