Laurent Blanc has confirmed PSG's interest in signing Eden Hazard shortly after reports emerged that David Luiz is on the verge of a move to Parc des Princes.

The fee for Luiz, reported to be anywhere between £40m and £50m, is set to be completed in the next 48-hours, making him the most expensive defender of all time.

However, according to Blanc, PSG aren't finished plucking the best talent away from Stamford Bridge. The Frenchman has confirmed that he wants Hazard in his team and explained exactly why that is.

Speaking to Le Parisien, Blanc said: "Why do I love Eden Hazard? Because he is a player who eliminates.

"We can discuss all of the systems, or a player's individual or collective qualities.

"But a player who can eliminate three or four players
any time in a game is something else.

"We don't know what to expect with these players. They destabilise the opponent."

Hazard still has three years left to run on his £150,000-a-week deal at Stamford Bridge but has a strained relationship with current manager Jose Mourinho.

Even so, convincing Chelsea to part with their best player won't be an easy task and Blanc admits he has highlighted other options just in case they fail to land Hazard.

A plan B if he doesn't come? Of course. There is also a plan C.

"We will first focus on the areas of game where we want to recruit and propose three solutions."
