The best reaction to not making a World Cup squad ever

Cristiano Ronaldo got lucky, he doesn't have to worry about going up against Brad Evans in the World Cup in Brazil next month.

The 29-year old Seattle Sounders man would line up at right back for the United States, but he was left out of the final  23 man squad by Jurgen Klinsmann last night.

Whilst Evans omission didn't get the same out-roar as a certain Landon Donovan's, he took it incredibly well.

"You got off easy this time @Cristiano" Evans tweeted out after learning of his fate last night, which was incredibly well received by the Twitter-Sphere, being retweeted a massive 6000 times.

Compare this to the reaction of Samir Nasri's girlfriend and you can see the gulf in class between the two individuals who are so far opposite on the spectrum.

USA face off against Portugal on June 22nd and it will be Geoff Cameron of Stoke City manning the right side of defence and getting the unenviable task of facing the Real Madrid star.
