Football News

From David Beckham smashing into row Z against Turkey, to John Terry’s fateful slip in the Champions League final against Manchester United, the footballing world has witnessed its fair share of disastrous penalties.

That being said, we think we’ve found the daddy of them all - the worst penalty of all time. Courtesy of the Serbian top flight, 36-year-old Nenad Mirosavljevic didn’t force the ‘keeper to make a save, didn’t sky it over the bar; he barely even hit the ball.

You might expect a man of his years, and all the inevitable experience they would bring, to either lash it home, tuck it into the top corner or maybe even try a cheeky little Andrea Pirlo-esque chip to humiliate the goalkeeper. What happened to the Cukaricki player when he stepped up however only served to embarrass himself.
