50 Cent comes up with lame excuse after awful first pitch

Last night's MLB action produced one of the worst ever first pitch attempt sever to grace the league courtesy of rap superstar, 50 Cent.

Turning out on the mound at the New York Mets the rapper saw his pitch fly out left in a truly ungraceful fashion to the hilarity of all who witnessed it.

The pitch, which can be seen here, led to derision from all corners but in a move worthy of his rap status, 50 Cent wasn't willing to let the criticism go without having his own say.

The rapper posted a video to his Instagram account, with the following tag line as he attempted to explain just how he managed to throw such a poor attempt:

"I'm a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO."

The video, which is unfortunately not suitable to post here due to the colorful language it contains, sees 50 Cent explain just what he excels at - and trust us we don't think any MLB general managers would find his excuse acceptable.

Stick to the day job 50.
