WWE regret Undertaker's WrestleMania loss

It was one of the biggest shocks in WrestleMania history but should it have ever happened?

When Brock Lesnar defeated the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX in April, many WWE fans were surprised assuming that the Undertaker would simply take his unbeaten streak to the grave. (No pun intended.)

However, now some sources within the company have revealed that many decision makers believe it was a mistake and that they now wish the result was reversed.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via Bleacher Report) writes:" There is still a lot of internal belief that it was the wrong call, basically I'm told that's the majority viewpoint but nobody can publicly say it, particularly since there is no indication Undertaker won't be back for next year's WrestleMania."

Meltzer also mentioned that Vince McMahon had made the decision a long time before WrestleMania and had simply waited until the last minute to tell anyone.

Of course this is not the first time that those within the WWE have disagreed with a decision made by Mr McMahon but with this perhaps being the biggest event in wrestling for some time, shockwaves are sure to be felt.

With Mr McMahon's financial issues being well documented recently. One can't help but wonder if WWE is feeling the impact of the result of this particular match in it's pocket as well as in the opinion of fans.
