Barcelona are hoping to sell Manchester United target Cesc Fabregas - in order to target a move for Atletico Madrid's Koke, who has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

There has been plenty of speculation about potential ins and outs at Barcelona, and Cesc Fabregas could be one of the biggest departures from the Camp Nou in the summer window.

Manchester United have been linked with the 27-year-old for quite some time now, while more recently Chelsea are said to have entered the race for his services.

However in a strange twist of fate, Manchester United could find their willingness to land one of their summer targets may help Barcelona beat them to the punch for another in Atletico Madrid's Koke - that's according to Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

He tweeted earlier today: "Barcelona have told Cesc he has to find a team. They want the money to buy Koke. Cost: 35m euros."

The young Spaniard impressed at the Vicente Calderon last season, and earned a call-up for Spain's World Cup squad.

The 22-year-old is likely to cost Manchester United around £30 million - around the same figure Barcelona are asking for Fabregas.

Further complicating the situation is Sky Sports' claim that Chelsea are also looking to sign the talented youngster.
